Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo coming to the AMP | Arts & Culture
The AMP and Walton Arts Center welcome rocker Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo to Northwest Arkansas on Sunday, August 19. The show has been moved from the AMP to Baum Walker Hall at Walton Arts Center to create the best experience for our patrons and performers. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the music begins at 7:00pm. Tickets range from $27-$62, and can be purchased by calling 479-443-5600 or visiting www.waltonartscenter.org. Patrons that have already purchased tickets will be mailed new tickets by the Walton Arts Center Box Office.
Long acknowledged as one of the leading female rock vocalists in the industry, Benatar will be embarking on her first live concert tour with her husband and guitarist Neil Giraldo, in over two years. Benatar and Giraldo have been rocking the music scene for more than three decades. Giraldo, the lead guitarist in the band, has worked on all of Benatar’s albums, and is also credited with composing and producing much of Benatar’s work.
Pat Benatar is a certified rock'n'roll superstar, a four-time Grammy winner with six platinum and four gold albums to her credit as well as such hit singles as "I Need A Lover," "Heartbreaker," "Fire and Ice," "Treat Me Right," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot," "Hell Is For Children," "Shadows of the Night," and "Love Is A Battlefield."
