Country Star Alan Jackson, Indie Rockers The Avett Brothers Come to AMP | Arts & Culture

The Arkansas Music Pavilion welcomes country superstar Alan Jackson to the AMP at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Friday, September 14. Gates open at 6pm with music starting at 7:30pm; tickets range from $34.50 - $102.  Tickets go on sale Friday, July 13 at 9am. The Avett Brothers will also play the AMP on Tuesday, October 16. Gates open at 6pm with music starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $37 and are general admission. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 20 at 9am. Alan Jackson

For more than two decades, country star Alan Jackson has been an essential part of the country music genre. Since the release of his first album in 1990, Jackson has been releasing hits and building a fan base that just keeps getting bigger. The Avett Brothers

There is no harmony like brotherly harmony. The Avett Brothers includes brothers Scott and Seth, and bassist Bob Crawford. They began making music together in 2001, but weren’t signed to major label American Recordings until 2008 when legendary producer Rick Rubin picked them up. “As soon as I heard the depth in their singing and songwriting, I was in for the ride,” says Rubin, who has worked with some of the most talented mavericks in the business, including Johnny Cash, Tom Petty and The Dixie Chicks.
