Youth Bridge Sponsors Motorcycle Poker Run Saturday, May 18

On Saturday, May 18th, Youth Bridge will sponsor a Motorcycle Show and Poker Run which begins and ends at Macadoodles, I-540 and Elm Springs Road in Springdale. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the first motorcycle out at 9:00 a.m.

The route is from Macadoodles to Pig Trail Harley Davidson in Rogers, to Pig Trails in Eureka Springs, to Anderson’s General Store in Hindsville and return to Macadoodles in Springdale. There will be prizes, raffles, music, live radio remote with 104.9 the X, and a free lunch sponsored by Signature Bank.

Springdale Rotary Club Announces Mud Run Fundraiser

Judy Van Hoose, President, Springdale Rotary, today announced preparations are nearly complete for Springdale Rotary Club’s inaugural Pig Trail Mud Run fundraiser. The Pig Trail Mud Run will take place on June 1, 2013 on an undeveloped, rustic portion of the Ecclesia College campus in Springdale, Arkansas, 9653 Nations Drive. Located in the beautiful Arkansas Ozarks, the course features extreme hills, underbrush and lots of trees, a stream bed and ponds.

Springdale Mayor to Host Prayer Breakfast

Join Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse and other community leaders, individuals and local churches at the Holiday Inn Convention Center of Northwest Arkansas for the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast.  This is Springdale’s 4th annual local non-denominational observance of the National Day of Prayer and features scripture readings, prayers and inspirational music.  The event opens at 6:30 a.m. with registration and the breakfast buffet.  The program starts at 7:00 am and concludes at 8:00 am on May 2.

Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band Performs April 27

The Arkansas Winds Community Concert Band cordially invites you to their Spring concert "European Gallery". The concert will be presented at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale, Arkansas on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 7:30 pm.  Admission is free and the public is invited.

The Arkansas Music Pavilion welcomes country music stars Little Big Town for The Tornado Tour with special guest David Nail to the AMP at the Washington County Fairgrounds on Friday, April 19. Razorback Cinema to Score Home Run for Fayetteville Youth Baseball

Join the Malco Razorback Cinema as they celebrate the release of the new Warner Bros Pictures film 42!

 

The theatre, located at 3956 North Steel Rd in Fayetteville, has scheduled a weekend of family events, including a fundraiser to benefit Fayetteville Youth Baseball, a local organization serving over 1,000 area youth through their summer recreational baseball league.

 

Community Gardens in the Park Plots Available

If you are interested in gardening at a park land community garden, we encourage you to sign up for a plot while they are available.  Garden plots that range in size from 25 to 100 square feet are available at the Walker Park and Jefferson Community Gardens.  These gardens are located within blocks of each other on South College Avenue.  Plot grants are available for those who quality, with qualifications based on income.  For more information, please visit our website at
