FPS Students Win Awards in State Math Competition
On Saturday April 28, 2012 students from Woodland, Ramay, McNair, and Fayetteville High School participated in the Arkansas Council of Teachers of Mathematics State Math Competition on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
The following students from McNair Middle School placed in the Algebra I competition:
- 1st place—Ryan Kim
- 2nd place—Albert Xu
- 3rd place—Jack Jiang
The following student from Woodland Junior High placed in the Algebra 2 competition:
- Honorable Mention—Tuong Hoang
The following student from Fayetteville High School placed in the Calculus competition:
- 3rd place—Kathy Gea
The following students from Fayetteville High School placed in the Statistics competition:
- 1st place—Tony Li
- 2nd place—Peter Du
